Vietnam discovery 12 days

Day 01: Saigon arrival (-)
Arrive at Tan San Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh city, welcomed by our local guide and transfer to hotel. Free to discover the modern and busy Saigon. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Saigon – My Tho – Cao Dai temple - Saigon (B.L)
After breakfast at hotel. Depart to My Tho Town in Tien Giang Province, one of 11 provinces in the Mekong Delta and arrival in My Tho at 11h30. You will take a boat trip on Mekong to visit farmer's house and garden. You will have lunch on Phoenix Island. After lunch at local restaurant, visit bee-raising farm, coconut-candy enterprise and then back to Saigon. Stop at Long An Town to visit a Cao Dai Temple, a strange religion in the South of Vietnam. Dinner on your own and overnight in Saigon.

Day 03: Saigon - Cu Chi Tunnel – Saigon (B.L)
After breakfast at hotel and then drive to Cu Chi Tunnels that consists of more than 200 km of underground tunnels. Walk around the tunnel area to see bomb craters, underground bunkers and deadly traps. Back to Saigon for lunch and visit the China Town, locally known as Cho Lon, the Thien Hau Temple. Then, visit Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office, which is in Romanesque art and French-style and a former Presidential Palace. Dinner on your own and overnight in Saigon.

Day 04: Saigon  – Da Nang – Hoi An (B.L) 
After breakfast at hotel, free to discover Saigon until transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for the flight to Da Nang. Arrival in Danang, welcomed by our local guide and transferred to Hoian. Lunch at local restaurant. Visit China Beach, Ngu Hanh Son Stone Village (handicraft). Drive to visit Hoi An Ancient town, a World's Cultural Heritage in the central. Dinner on your own and overnight in Hoi An.

Day 05: Hoi An – Da Nang - Hue (B.L)
After breakfast at hotel. Visit Cam Thanh village where you enjoy the boat ride and fishing crabs in the heart of Bay Mau coconut forest. Then, take part to the cooking class at a local family and enjoy lunch together. Afternoon, visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese temple, Chinese Hall, Hoian market and the Tan Ky ancient house. Overnight in Hoi An.  

Day 06: Hoi An – Da Nang - Hue (B.L)
After breakfast at hotel. Free at leisure in Hoi An or at An Bang beach then, depart for Hue via Danang, visit Cham Museum. Continue to Hue through Hai Van Pass. Stop on the top of the mountain for taking photos on Lang Co Beach. Arrival in Hue at the end of the day, check in hotel and free to discover Hue. Dinner on your own and overnight in Hue.

Day 07: Hue – Discover - Hanoi (B.L)
After breakfast at hotel. Visit Hue by taking a small sampan for a cruise on the Perfume River to visit the famous Thien Mu Pagoda and the Minh Mang King's tomb. Lunch at local restaurant. We then visit the complex of Tu Duc Emperor's tomband visit Hue Imperial City, then, visit Dong Ba Market. Then, transfer to Phu Bai airport for the short flight to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi, welcomed by our driver and transferred to your hotel in the city centre. Overnight in Hue.

Day 08: Discover Hanoi (B.L)
After breakfast at hotel. Visit today Vietnam’s capital, including Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, traditional stilt house, the revered One-Pillar Pagoda, Quan Thanh Temple and walk along the shore of West Lake to visit Tran Quoc Pagoda. Lunch at local restaurant. Then, visit the Vietnam’s first university, the thousand year old Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son temple and enjoy a wonderful rickshaw in the Old Quarter of Hanoi to explore the very busy part of Hanoi. At the evening, you will take part in the water puppet show. Dinner on your own and overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

Day 09: Hanoi - Hoa Binh - Mai Chau (B.L)
After breakfast at hotel. Departure for Mai Chau via Hoa Binh and stop at Cao Phong to visit Giang Mo village, home of Muong ethnic people. Then continue to Mai Chau and arrive at Ban Lac village around noon, check in a local Thai family and have lunch. Afternoon, walk around Ban Lac and Nhot villages to discover the local daily life of white Thai people. Dinner and overnight at homestay in Mai Chau. 

Day 10: Mai Chau - Ninh Binh (B.L)
After breakfast at hotel, our guide and driver will transfer you to Ninh Binh. One of the most famous sites of Vietnam for its historic vestiges and its impressive pitons limestone. Arrive Ninh Binh, You will visit Temples of Dinh Bo Linh and Le Hoan Kings. After lunch at home – stay, take a sampan cruise to discover Van Long. In the afternoon, ride bicyle around village to explore the life style of local people. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

Day 11: Ninh Binh - Halong Bay - Overnight on boat (B.L.D)
After breakfast, drive to Ha Long Bay via Nam Dinh, Thai Binh and Hai Phong
12h00 – 12h30 : Embark on the traditional wooden junk followed by a short cruise briefing.
13h00 – 15h30 : Savor a delectable lunch as cruises among the limestone islands.
15h30 – 16h30 : Kayak among the hidden areas of the bay, around the Bo Nau Cave area. Back to the the junk
16h30 – 17h30 : Cruising to Soi Sim island. Go swimming and relaxing at the beach of Soi Sim or climb up to the top of the island for a panorama view of Halong Bay.
17h30 : Cruise back to the main boat for a shower. Relax or snap photos as the sun starts to set.
19h00 : Dinner is served. Socialize with other guests, fish for squid, or just laze around. Overnight on board.

Day 12: Halong - Cooking demonstration - Departure (B.L)
06h30 - 07h00 : Start your day with Tai Chi exercises or a photo hunt.
07h30 - 08h30 : Have breakfast at sunrise.
08h30 - 09h30 : Explore the amazing Sung Sot Cave - the nicest cave in Halong Bay.
09h30 : Return to the boat. Freshen up and check out of your cabin.
09h30 - 10h30 : Continue your cruise exploring the Bay, passing Ba Hang fishing village, Dog Islet, and more.
10h30 – 11h30 : While heading back to the habor, watch the cooking demonstration before enjoying a traditional Vietnamese lunch.
12h00 – 12h30 : Disembark et trip finishes at around 16h30. Then picks you up and transfers back to Noi Bai airport for the departure.
